420 Secondary Schools Teams Racing CNI’s

Congratulations to the Francis Douglas Memorial College and New Plymouth Boys High School teams who travelled across to Taupō for the Secondary Schools Teams Racing Central North Island Champs. After 3 late starts due to low wind pressure, both teams got through 2 round robins with FDMC finishing 4th overall with 10 wins, and NPBHS in 7th with 8 wins. Additional thanks to Tash Brassel from Taupō who ran an amazing regatta, and to New Plymouth RO Rob Oliver, Head Umpire Mark Hatch, and assistant umpires Caleb Birrell and Amelia Otto. As well as Ann Hatch on the finish boat, and the parents who supported the teams throughout the regatta. Ka Pai everyone, good luck for Nationals on your home turf.
